i know that condoms are effective and all, but how do you get pregnant still? its not like any sperm can just swim through latex. it just doesnt make sense, does it go through the bottom? does it have to break? how?
First off, condoms aren’t effective for preventing pregnancy. I hate that all you young kids think they are. It’s only about 70% effective when used as a contraceptive. That’s why you need another safeguard with it. Anyway, in order to get pregnant there has to be a break or a leak. Some condoms may have a small hole and leak at the tip (not so likely as the small hole will usually cause a break). But no, the sperm can’t swim through the latex, polyurethane or whatever kind of condom you have.
I rather have my child get pregnant at a young age than wanting him or her to be gay, because being a teen parent is easier for them socially, emotionally, and mentally. It has nothing to do with right or wrong, but i rather have my child take the easy way out. Think about it! the social pressure, the emotional struggle, the confusion, the family pressure, etc, those are the stuff that homosexual has to face and overcome to feel comfortable with his or her own skin.
I’d have to say pregnant since that is at least a natural state. In the short term, a youngster giving birth has a higher risk then a mature woman but in the long run, the homosexual lifestyle is more dangerous. Also, the baby can always be adopted out to someone who is emotionally and economically able to raise it. Being a homosexual at a young age would surely lead to drug use, ostricication, and a miserable life. Plus, one can be unhappy about the pregnancy but then work to correct the thinking of the youngster but what can one do about mutated genes? Family members are always more understanding of getting pregnant then being homosexual and will not likely exert negative pressures for long. I think you have thought this through quite well. Hopefully neither of us will have to deal with either situation.

I don’t think this girl condom is latex??? It says vaginal contraceptive FILM (VCF). it also comes with some kind of foam? I got it from a health department i don’t know.

You can get pregnant any time of the month. It’s a fallacy to think you can not get pregnant while on your period.

I used a condom while having sex. I also pulled out way before i got off. but is it possible for like the pre cum to slip through the condom or something. because her breasts have been hurting and its been about 3 1/2 weeks since her last period. and shes worried shes pregnant. shes also been feeling a little nauseous too.

Condoms are 90% effective against pregnancy, but if it was EXPIRED or had a HOLE, she could very well be pregnant.

I am wanting to become pregnant. I am going to quit my NuvaRing birth control. I have heard it takes time for users to start producing egs again. I am going to start taking vitamins and eat healthy. I also have an ovulation calendar. Are there any other way that will speed up the process?
Sweetie I’m in the same boat. My husband and I have been trying for a while now, and it seems almost impossible to us at times, but it will happen if it is God’s will. Your best bet is to simply pray. Ask God for your little bundle of joy, and it’s most likely to happen. Until then, I’m certain they’re things you can do to make your body a more healthy environment for when the little one does come along. My cousin once told me that if you stop, or at least slow down on, your caffeine intake your chances of getting pregnant will increase. I’m not really sure if that’s true or not, but that’s what i’ve been told. Anyhow, good luck and God Bless.
