If she is already taking inhaled steroid inhalers, regular inhalers, etc., is there anything else a pregnant woman can take to help allergic asthma and allergic reactions in serious cases? Can she take a small dose of an antihistamine such as Benadryl to help her get relief from symptoms?
Yes, both my midwife and OB said it was okay.
Well along with the paramedics when I had an allergic reaction.

I have horrible asthma and used my inhaler only when necessary, probably 10-15 times total my entire pregnancy, same with benedryl.
I found vicks and a humidifier REALLY helped, especcially in the third trimester, and that way she doesn’t have to take medicine.
You can talk to your midwife/OB, but they will probably tell you to weigh the risks/benefits.
I know for me, the baby needs oxygen, and when I start to go into anaphlaxes I need to take benedryl.

That health book didn’t describe the harmful effects of drugs on your baby? I don’t really know the list of everything that can go wrong, but I think its a safe guess to say that it is a very STUPID idea to do any sort of drug while you are pregnant. Well, hell, any time for that matter, but at least when you aren’t pregnant your only hurting yourself. But one sure fire consequence is your baby dying or living a life of health complications and pain, and it being ALL your fault because you made stupid choices.
*Not meaning "you" specifically. As long as it really ISN’T YOU doing it!!

What you will have to do is send him a recent photo and maybe a little about yourself and see where it goes from there. I don’t think Bigfoot is the responsible type, so don’t expect him to hang around or support you and your new child if you did conceive. I would like someone to give me the name of a website that states the average heart rate of a pregnant woman, espically in her third trimester.
I am not trying to lose rate. I just want to know the average heart rate of a pregnant women when resting. I am not interested in the heart rate of exercising. I would please like a website that states it.

It depends on the normal heart rate of the individual, can’t give you a specific, but a range would probably be 62-82…………
Condition and heredity have a lot to do with it.

I pregnant with my second child and I’ve been reading about false positive HIV test in pregnant woman. I have to go have blood work done soon and this has me worried. Anyone have any information?
Yes it is true that there are a fair amount of false positive results in pregnant women. BUT if it is, they will do a second test (which is very common) it’s called the Western Blot test. If the Western Blot is negative, you do not have any HIV antibodies in your blood. The Western Blot test if very accurate.
