I gave birth to my son in Aug of 2009. I’ve had some slight bleeding around the end of October ( the 20th to be exact). But since then, nothing significant. I recieved the shot in August ( on my discharge day), and the doc explained I would be covered for 3 months. I had some spotting in the beginning of November, and that was it. Still no period…and feeling some similar pregnancy symptoms from before. Please let me know your feedback. Thanks.

You can get pregnant as soon as you give birth…thats one of the reasons drs tell you to wait 6-8 weeks before having sex actually you are most fertile after giving birth. If you got a shot in August you should have gotten another one in November to avoid pregnancy.

Ok, well my Aunt went back to her 6 week check up and was pregnant (Dr. was NOT happy) If you mean the depo shot one of the side effects is no or hardly no period.

on average it takes 26days to start ovulation again.
    so after that.
the shot isnt 100% just like other birthcontrol methods arent.
spotting could have been implantation bleeding
    take a test

if you’re nursing that can delay your period too, i didnt get one the whole time i nursed- 18months- but ovulated anyways
